Jördis Drawe studied Experimental Photography in Kassel. She occupies herself chiefly with light objects, experimental painting, photo and material collage.
Jördis Drawe und Uwe Schüler mostly perform as a duo, but working in a larger group is their favorite. With their objects, actions and workshops they criticize the consumer society and offer alternatives to it using recycled materials and DIY. Moreover, it is important that larger groups of participants are involved in the artistic work process, in the spirit of social sculpture.
